Black Lives Matter: Starting Points

In view of recent events in the USA and around the world regarding racial injustice, its history and legacies, the BAVS executive committee is considering how Victorian Studies as a field is imbricated with (and can perpetuate) racial inequality and injustice, and what anti-racist action the Association can take.

As part of this effort, Jonathan Godshaw Memel, Fariha Shaikh and Joanna E. Taylor have assembled a list of resources in various media to help Victorianists to integrate race and anti-racism into their teaching and research.
