Event: COVE Conferences

NAVSA are giving EVENT 2024 registrants access to COVE Conferences, where we have begun two exciting COVE-enabled activities: Poetry: Closely, Together, a social close-reading exercise with Veronica Alfano, Meredith Martin, Herbert F. Tucker, Ewan Jones, Kirstie Blair, and Amy Huseby; and the Material Cultures Virtual Roundtable, a discussion about teaching innovations with Denae Dyck, Susan Johnston, Andrea Korda, Mary Elizabeth Leighton, Vanessa Warne, and Elizabeth Womack.

If you did not submit a paper to a hub, you can still participate actively in EVENT 2024, including entering into conversation with the authors of the papers that will be delivered across the globe in September. To participate in these activities, you need to register:

If you are wondering why you should consider paying for registration to attend these Zoom sessions, scroll down on our home page to Sponsors and Fees for an explanation of the fee structure of this conference:

This is a chance for you to help our efforts to connect people across the globe without the massive carbon footprint of long-haul flights. The discussion at COVE during the opening Vcologies panel had participants from Australia, Canada, China, England, Germany, Ireland, India, Italy, Scotland, South Korea, Turkey, the United States, and Wales. Come join the fun!
