Danielle is Surrey Future Fellow at the University of Surrey, with research interests in dress, fashion, and material culture in Victorian and neo-Victorian literature and culture. She is the author of Victorian Dress in Contemporary Historical Fiction: Materiality, Agency and Narrative (Bloomsbury Academic, 2023) and is currently working on a second monograph on Second-hand Clothes and Sustainability in Nineteenth-Century Literature and Culture.
