Announcement: COVE

Colleagues and students,

I’m delighted to share some great news: COVE has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities in the amount of $350,000. The grant comes from the Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant scheme and will run from 2022 to 2025. Adrian S. Wisnicki and I will serve as Co-PIs. COVE will be on a much stronger footing once the work is complete.

The development of COVE began in 2014 when NAVSA’s Board and Council voted to create it. What success we have had has been thanks to the COVE Consortium of universities, the professional organizations that support our work, the many scholars who have helped by serving on the Advisory Board or constructing scholarly editions or advocating for institutional subscriptions, and a growing community of users, including many of you. Please know that we deeply value the support you have given us, and we ask that you please consider this success as much yours as ours. This was truly a collective effort.

Best,

Dino Franco Felluga (Purdue University)
with Adrian S. Wisnicki (University of Nebraska-Lincoln)
