Call for Volunteers: The London Nineteenth-Century Studies Seminar (Institute of English Studies)

The convenors of the seminar wish to recruit four graduate volunteers for the academic year 2019/20.

  • One Graduate Representative to assist with the planning and promotion of seminars in 2019/20.
  • Three Co-Organisers for the annual London Nineteenth-Century Studies Graduate Conference (January 2020). Volunteers will be responsible for inviting plenary speakers, drafting a call-for-papers, selecting papers and curating panels.

These positions are open to graduate research students (or early careers researchers within 3 years of PhD viva) from any University of London affiliated institution (including Birkbeck, Courtauld, Goldsmiths, KCL, RHUL, SAS, SOAS, QMUL, UCL).

Interested candidates should forward a 1-page CV and a short statement of interest (200 words) to brian.murray@kcl.ac.uk by 12 August 2019.
