CFP: Victorian Literary Languages
The AHRC-funded Victorian Literary Languages research network will be holding its first workshop at the University of St Andrews on 26-27 May 2022.
The network’s aim is to explore the multilingualism of literature written in Victorian Britain and Ireland, and its first workshop will focus specifically on the intersections between Victorian literature and grammar, lexicography, and philology. The network has funds set aside to support the participation of PhD students and ECRs without institutional affiliation.
If you would like to participate in the first workshop, please email the network’s co-ordinators Gregory Tate and Karin Koehler (viclitlang@gmail.com) by 18 February 2022.
Please include your name, institutional affiliation(s) (if applicable), and a description of your research and your intended contribution (250 words). More information about the network can be found on its website: https://victorianliterarylanguages.wp.st-andrews.ac.uk.
