Dear colleagues,
‘Dickens Day 2022’ is fast approaching! Taking place at Senate House, London, on Saturday 8 October (9am-5pm), this one-day, in-person symposium explores the theme of ‘Beginning Dickens’. The programme includes a variety of readings; plenaries by Michael Slater, Carolyn Oulton, John Drew, and Joanna Hofer-Robinson; and panels devoted to ‘Dickens’s Early Writings: Pickwick and Mudfog’, ‘Dickens’s Early Writings: Experiments in Media and Genre’, ‘Dickens’s Biographical Beginnings’, and ‘Beginnings in Dickens’s Writing’.
Tickets cost £30 for standard registration and £15 for student/unwaged registrations.
You can explore the full programme and register for the event here: https://ies.sas.ac.uk/events/dickens-day-2022
We hope to see you there!
With best wishes,
Claire, on behalf of the conference team
