Fourth Annual Women Money Markets Conference on ‘Female Economies’

Dear colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to a conference I am organizing together with Dr Eva Brugger (UZH, History Department) and Olivia Biber, M.A. (University of Berne, English Department): Initially scheduled for June 2020, the Fourth Annual Women Money Markets Conference on “Female Economies” will finally take place on 9-11 June in a digital format.

In addition to a great number of paper and poster contributions, the conference will feature keynote lectures by Dr Victoria Bateman (University of Cambridge), Professor Emma Hart (University of Pennsylvania) and Professor Lana Dalley (California State University, Fullerton) as well as an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion on women in finance with Anika Thym (Basel), Stefan Leins (Konstanz), Monika Dommann (UZH) and Nadia Aebli, who works as a banker in Zurich. The posters and papers will be pre-circulated so that the panels can focus on their discussion (rather than presentation).

The conference poster and a detailed programme are available here:

Please write a short message to <wmm2020zurich@gmail.com> in order to receive the Zoom links and get access to the pre-circulated material as well as to Equity (2016), a film directed, produced and financed by women about women in finance which will feature in the roundtable discussion.

It would be great to see some of you at the conference!
