Registration is now open for ‘Locating the Brontës’, a one-day symposium being held at Sheffield University on November 22nd 2019.
This symposium is a collaboration between Dr Amber Regis of Sheffield University and PhD candidates Tamsin Crowther of Sheffield University and Victoria Clarke of Leeds University, and in partnership with The Brontë Society.
We are very excited to welcome our keynote speaker, Dr Jo Waugh of York St John University, who will be opening the symposium with a talk on ‘The Brontës and Contagion’. Other papers cover topics on fanfiction, biography and space and place. There will also be a lunchtime session on ‘collaborating with the museum sector’ with Sarah Laycock, curator at the Brontë Parsonage Museum and Amy Ryall, Faculty Impact Manager at The University of Sheffield. A full conference programme is attached to this email.
You can register for the symposium via the Brontë Society website at https://www.bronte.org.uk/whats-on/894/locating-the-brontes/3910
