VACANCY: Membership Secretary for the Tennyson Society
The Tennyson Society, which has several hundred members world-wide, is looking for a new Membership Secretary. There will be an annual Honorarium of £300 for approximately 2 hours work per month. The job entails keeping the Society’s membership lists up-to-date, enrolling new members, recording annual subscription payments and keeping in touch with Society activities through the Website and Twitter account. The successful candidate will be given membership of the Tennyson Society and will become familiar with the Tennyson Research Centre at the Lincolnshire Archives in Rumbold Street, Lincoln. They will have access to the Zoom Tennyson Talks and will meet scholars from across the world at our conferences and annual events.
This post would provide valuable career experience for any postgraduate or independent researcher. A Lincolnshire base is desirable but is not essential.
